“A glass for the kid Marian”, he’s going to be here for a while.” Cluny smiled, watched ‘Jube get served with a jug of root beer, & whispered to himself, “The show must go on…” As he watched, he listened to what Jube’ had to say to the other rats,… Cluny wanted to make sure that things were going safe & swell. The young rat, Jube’ had then began to speak. “So, you must be a real friend of Cluny’s, you seem nice”, he told Vipertooth. “What?-O-oh. Yeah,…we are. Thanks” “Best friends maybe?” “A little bit”, Viper’ replied. Vipertooth was the sort of rat that you could say, quiet. She had just one secret that she’d want –absolutely no one to know. & it all seemed work all out as planned for the lovely, lady-rat slayer, although she still feared that her secret would actually be discovered. No one but her, knew her secret, -which was very,-very good; & -yet, Jube’ saw this, & sensed it. ~“She is –definitely hiding something.”~ He told himself. & surly, he’d have to find out. However, he did not know that Vipertooth had been keeping this secret ever since the day she had met Cluny. Felan & Cheesetheif were just having an argument over right next to Vipertooth. She looked over at her younger brother, & gave an evil glare. “Cheesetheif!”, she protested; he, & Felan looked over all of a sudden at Viper’, who was really getting annoyed over at the small fighting scene. “What the hell are you doin’ choking Felan?!” “Uuuuuuh….” She then got up, slammed the bar table, went over to Cheesetheif, & the scene was just about to start & look ugly.

“Cluny, Jube’, Felan, step back”, Viper’ told them quietly. Jube’ was surprised. He tugged upon Cluny’s cloak. “ What does she mean by that Cluny?” He asked Cluny, who just sat there, watching the fight scene between Vipertooth & Cheesethief. “Dunno’ ” He shrugged. “Maybe she & Cheesethief are starting up a fight”, Cluny laughed. “Oh, -this should be good!” Jube’ looked over with Cluny & Felan in amazement as he swished his long, whip-like tail round, & round. “My god, YOU are SO dead toast, -Cheese-puff!” Viper’ said in Cheesthief’s face. Trying best to defend himself, he shot Vipertooth towards a wall by kicking her in the stomach. Flying into the air as she went, she hit the wall with a great thud. All rats gasped, & watched the fight. Jube’ was shocked towards the sight along with Felan, who had rushed to help his sister. Jube’ sneaked from behind, -to hit Cheesthief SQUARE –right in the face! This punch had sent Cheesthief to the ground with a thump near his chair. Jube’ took Cheesethief’s outfit into his paws, began to take another punch when he said, “Y’know what Cheese-ball? You can’t hit her! She’s a girl!” He pointed towards Vipertooth, who was still collapsed on the floor at a distant measure of piles of wood stacked on top of her body. Luckily, unlike for any other rat, she leaped back up like as if she were hooked on cocaine. “Hey! What’s the big idea?! Okay, now you’ve asked for it!” Getting out her weapon, a scythe, she whirled it out with one big, slash! “Eat –egg wise-guy!” Surprised & shocked at the powerful weapon, Cheesethief tried to escape, ignoring himself being held into Jublenarris’s grasp. The scythe was thrown onto Cheesethief, sending him flying backwards into a wall on the other side of the room.

Falling against the wall, being able to stagger up, he put his hands on his knees narrowing his eyes as he breathed hard against his words as he spoke. “You-….(pants)…traitor…-(pants)..-how…(pants)-dare-you?” Vipertooth just stood there, watching the hard panting, furious rat in a shaking motion… “Just leave Felan right where he is here, & you’ll be no longer hurt…” Viper’ whispered out loud so Cheesthief could hear. “We’re finished here.” After that, strolling on back to the bar, Viper’ took 3 things. The money she earned from the previous hour down the halls, her brother Felan, & her rum. After then, she had said nothing, -but right at the doorway, she said only one word,…….”Continue”, rats all around did as they were told, & went back to what they were doing, however, they were more quiet, & Cluny got up out of his seat to go & get Vipertooth. “Cluny?” Jube’ asked; is she gonna’ be okay?” “Yeah. Cluny said; she’ll be *just* fine…” He strode right out the doorway, & went to see Vipertooth over whispering to Felan face-to-face, at the end of a corner in the hallway. Moments later while still waiting, Cluny sighed in relief when Felan had finally left. He wanted to talk with Vipertooth. Walking slowly, & silently, he approached upon her in a graceful way. Know he was there, Vipertooth turned her ears backwards to listen for him, before turning her head slowly. “Are you hurt?” Cluny said finally. “No”, she said. “Why?” Because you were just hit against a wall back there; your not hurt at all in any way?” “Even if I were, I wouldn’t tell you”, Viper’ whispered.
"Why?" Cluny asked. Viper' just stood there, she took a swig from her rum, leaned against a wall, & sighed. Cluny however, slowly placed his hands on her shoulders, turned her around & looked into her lovely, golden eyes. He then whispered, "You be fine..." he convinced her. Vipertooth just looked down, & sighed again, "Yes,...but only in a matter of time..I'm still thinking abou-" She was cut off when Cluny grabbed her paw, & took her in foward for a hug, she did; & leaned forward. She felt a jolt of happiness come in right through her, & heard Cluny's hearbeat near her ear. She felt like the most luckiest female rat alive, & felt a sif no one would ever ruin this tender moment. As doing so, she looked around to see if anyone was looking,.....no one was. They were all alone. Cluny then whispered something into Vipertooth's ear,......"You're just so lovely tonight..." he said all so of a sudden. She looked at him in surprise, & disbelief. She felt like as if she were about to collapsed. She did, her eyes went slam shut, &  fainted.
